From the culinary point of view, the Alpe di Siusi region offers an interesting mixture of the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine and the Mediterranean cuisine.
Numerous culinary events are waiting for you, featuring the “Bergler Gastronomic Weeks” underneath the Catinaccio Group, guided visits to the organic herb farm Pflegerhof and much more. The highlights, however, are the “Völser Kuchlkastl” in autumn, a gastronomic event offering traditional South Tyrolean dishes, as well as the “Country Wedding in Castelrotto”, which takes place every two years and celebrates a peasant weeding as in the olden days. And, of course, many treats are served!
