The Alpe di Siusi and the surrounding peaks of Mt Sassolungo and Mt Sasso Piatto as well as the Sciliar massif provide ideal terrain for tours of all levels. If you seek a thrill or a particularly challenging tour, we recommend you the Laurenzi or Maximilian fixed-rope routes, close to the Alpe di Tires in the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
Beginners and those who would like to make their first trials in this sports, can take part in courses or guided tours, offered by the Sciliar Alpine School, located at Siusi allo Sciliar. Their offer is multifaceted and includes hikes, rock climbing both for beginners and extreme climbers, sports climbing and much more (phone: +39 0471 706285, email@example.com).
In the locality of Telfen near Castelrotto, there is a boulder hall with an area of 210 sqm, which is open daily - except Sundays - from 10 am to 10 pm. Those who prefer climbing under the open sky, however, can walk to the climbing garden of the Castelvecchio Ruin, located directly at the foot of the ruin. There are climbing routes starting from the 6th French numerical grade. Less difficult routes (4th to 5th grade) are provided by the lower section of this climbing garden.
