Please note that most shops and offices on the Alpe di Siusi are closed on public holidays. Unlike in the rest of Italy, Whit Monday is a public holiday in South Tyrol.
From 2026 the 4 October, the day dedicated to St. Francis from Assisi, will become a public holiday as well, increasing the number of national holidays to 13.
