This 26-km long tour shows us the enchanting natural landscape of the Alpe di Siusi

We take the Alpe di Siusi Cable Car to Compaccio, a village at 1,840 m a.s.l. which is also accessible by car until 9 am and features a bike rental service. We follow the pass road towards the Hotel Punta d'Oro and the Molignon hut. The section before the fork is paved. Below the Hotel Goldknopf we take the gravel road no. 7 to the Molignon hut which is about halfway of the trip. Here, we stop for a break.
Then, we continue along path no. 8 towards Saltria. Our next destination is the Tirler restaurant at 1,770 m a.s.l. from where we ride uphill through the Ochsenwald forest and arrive at Monte Pana where we turn left towards Saltria (path no. 3). From there, we take the paved road to Compaccio.
This MTB tour delights us with impressive panoramic views of the Alpe di Siusi area and the Dolomites. Although the tour is rather short and does not have a significant difference in altitude, it should not be underestimated as some ascents are exposed to the sun.
