The Giro delle Dolomiti, now at its 50th edition, holds a special place in the heart of passionate cyclists. This amateur cycling race blends sport, passion, adventure and good company. The Giro delle Dolomiti 2027 will be held from 19 to 23 July. The varied, more than 400-km long route is split into five wonderful daily stages in a truly spectacular setting. The base of the competition is the Fair of Bolzano** and athletes are delighted with unparalleled experiences and panoramic views of the Dolomites. The main goal of this event is to explore the Dolomites and the other alpine passes, including the legendary Passo dello Stelvio at 2,757 m a.s.l.
During the last years, the popularity of the Giro delle Dolomiti has increased considerably not only because of the stunning panoramic views it offers, but also thanks to its unique format: athletes stay in a group for most of each daily stage to best enjoy the atmosphere and the landscape. Each stage includes a short timed section closed to the traffic which determines the winner of the daily stage and the final ranking of the entire race.
The event ensures a perfect blend of relaxation, competitiveness and joy and attracts numerous amateur cyclists from all over the world. To attend this race, you need to have a valid medical certificate for competitive sports. The organisational committee can count on a decade-long experience and offers additional services, such as a bicycle repair service, massages and refreshment points along the route. Safety inside the group is the uttermost priority.
The Giro delle Dolomiti is an unforgettable experience also for spectators who can choose from a huge variety of activities.
