Description
Skijoring is a Scandinavian winter sport that is still not too familiar with us, but increasingly popular. A skier is thereby pulled by a rope of a horse. What originally was a relatively easy method of locomotion particularly over long distances in the long Scandinavian winter, is now a very spectacular and action-packed sport. The challenge here is that the beast of burden during acceleration does not bring his own skier to fall and that and that he is not borne off track in the turns by centrifugal force. Of course there is also the matter of being faster than its competitors.
