The villages of the Sciliar area are located approx. 20 km away from the Brennero Motorway exit
The Alpe di Siusi region is easily accessible to all self-drivers. When entering Italy via Passo del Brennero, travel on the Brennero Motorway A22 towards Bolzano. Take the “Chiusa/Val Gardena” exit and arrive to the beautiful villages of the Alpe di Siusi and Sciliar region within 20 minutes.
Worth knowing: since the Alpe di Siusi highland is part of the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, strict rules control the traffic there. Only those whose accommodation lies right on the Alpine pasture are allowed to travel there by car. Everybody else is asked to drive up before 9 am or take the modern and convenient Alpe di Siusi Cable Car, starting from Siusi allo Sciliar.
