Getting there by car

The villages of the Sciliar area are located approx. 20 km away from the Brennero Motorway exit

The Alpe di Siusi region is easily accessible by car.

Delays may occur between Gries am Brenner and the passo del Brennero due to construction works on the Luegbrücke bridge. The works are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

As the Alpe di Siusi belongs to the Sciliar-Catinaccio nature park, access by car is allowed only until 9 am unless you stay in one of the hotels on the Alpe di Siusi. From Siusi starts a modern cable car to the Alpe di Siusi.

Below we explain how to access the Alpe di Siusi:

Coming from Munich, follow the motorway "Inntalautobahn" A 12 via Rosenheim, Kufstein and Innsbruck. Then, take the motorway "Brennerautobahn" A 13 to passo del Brennero. At the Italian border follow the "autostrada del Brennero" A 22 until the exit Chiusa - Val Gardena (Klausen - Waidbruck) where you continue along the road SS 242 which leads into the Val Gardena. In Ortisei you need to follow the SP 64 to the Alpe di Siusi.

Otherwise you can continue on the motorway "autostrada del Brennero" A 22 until the exit Bolzano Nord where you take the road SS 12 until Prato Isarco (Blumau) and then the road LS 24 to the Alpe di Siusi.
