A performative mountain expedition with La Cristàna

On 14 June 2026, we invite you to experience the Heart of Jesus tradition with a completely new, archaic depth. This guided hike is more than just an ascent; it is a ritual approach to the sacred fire of the Alps. Join the artist and ambassador of the ‘Promised Time’, La Cristàna, through the wild, romantic silence of the Tschamin Valley up to the Tierser Alpl (2,440 m).

The experience:
We set off from the historic Tschaminschwaige and ascend meditatively through one of the most unspoilt valleys in the nature park. In the evening, as twilight bathes the Schlern massif in a mystical light, La Cristàna will perform an exclusive dance piece, culminating in the solemn lighting of the Sacred Heart fire.

Important tour details:

• Date: Sunday, 14 June 2026
• Meeting point: 09:30, Tschaminschwaige (Tiers/Weißlahnbad)
• Travel advice: Please use public transport (bus routes 185/176). Bus stop: Weißlahnbad.
• Requirements: A challenging mountain hike (approx. 1,100 metres of elevation gain). Sure-footedness and a good level of fitness are essential.

Equipment & Alpine Safety:

Despite the late season, the high mountains have a life of their own. Please note:
• Clothing: Even in June, temperatures at altitude – particularly after sunset – are very low. Warm clothing (layered approach), hat
• Footwear: Sturdy, mountain-suitable footwear with a treaded sole is essential, as we may encounter patches of old snow.
• Provisions: Food and warm drinks for the journey.
• Flexibility: Safety comes first. Depending on snow conditions or weather, the guide reserves the right to change or adapt the route at short notice.
