And what does always go together with the lovely pastures in South Tyrol? A chalet obviously :-) There are lots of them spread all over the Alpe di Siusi pasture, offering such traditional dishes as dumplings or schlutzer, a ravioli-like pasta indigenous to the area.

Numerous hiking trails take you across the Alpe di Siusi pasture and past lovely chalets and mountain huts. Stop by and try a tasty South Tyrolean dish; it is worth it!!
