With more than 16 km this hiking tour is one of the longest tours on the Alpe di Siusi. Our starting point is Compaccio on the Alpe di Siusi, a component locality of the municipality of Castelrotto, from where we walk up to the Hotel Panorama. There we take the marker no. 7 to the Rosa Alpina mountain hut.

Until the Molignon mountain hut we walk on forest roads. After a short rest we take the trail which crosses two small valleys which are placed directly below the Denti di Terrarossa (Horse Teeth) rock formations. At the turnoff we stay on the path no. 7 which becomes a forest road again. It leads us through a varied alp landscape: flower meadows, alpine roses and a fantastic view to Mt Sassolungo and the Puez-Odle Group.

The next part of our hike leads us through woods of Swiss stone pines until we find us below the Zallinger mountain hut. The marker no. 7 goes up to the hut and the romantic chapel. Of course we take a rest now! Further on now we take the path no. 9 which leads down to the Tirler alpine pasture. Here we also find the mythical Witches' Springs. The path continues to Saltria where our tour ends. To come back to Compaccio, we take the local bus.
