What you always wanted to know about spices and herbs

Slightly below Siusi allo Sciliar, near to the little hamlet San Osvaldo, lies a small but lovely farm called Pflegerhof. But this isn’t the usual kind of farm, as here you might get delicious herbs and lots of other organically grown products!

Miss Martha Mulser and her whole family have decided to dedicate themselves to the growing of organic herbs. An admirable task, which they carry out with flying colours. The herbs are used to make tea, spiced salt or scented herbal pillows.

Covering an area of 5 hectares, some 0.7 hectares of the farm are dedicated to the growing of medicinal plants, herbs and spices. You may visit a show garden and a greenhouse with more than 200 types of herbs. A true paradise of fragrances, flavours and colours…

The farmers, moreover, sell fresh vegetables, fruits and other food on a daily basis. So what about a guided visit, a workshop or a hike here in this lovely place? :-)
