Culinary delicacies and lots of nature at an altitude of 880 m asl - this is Fiè allo Sciliar

The municipality of Fiè allo Sciliar features an altitude from 315 to 2,564 masl. The local flora and fauna has quite something to offer. A special attraction are however the white mountain peaks of hte Dolomites surrounding the place. The Sciliar Nature Park is fairly beautiful and a good place to get to know nature with all its aspects.
At the bottom of the Sciliar locates a little pond known as “Völser Weiher”. In summer it attracts numerous swimmers, in winter it turns into a lovely ice rink.

In 2003 Fiè allo Sciliar became a health resort. The refined tasty dishes served by the local inns are evidence of this.
Several times a year, the village organises culinary specialty weeks. Then the restaurants and inns serve oh-so delicious dishes - you shouldn’t miss them!

We suggest: Visit the medieval Prösels Castle, which keeps its doors open almost the entire year and hosts numerous events such as concerts and exhibitions in summertime!
